A complete audio workflow, not just storage

AudioDN handles each stage from upload to secure delivery so you can ship audio features without stitching services together.

  1. 01

    Upload

Send audio directly from a browser, mobile app, backend, or dashboard.

  2. 02

    Process

Automatically produce the configured playback, preview, download, waveform, and analysis outputs.

  3. 03

    Notify

React to track and individual-file completion through webhooks.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Stream public or protected audio through secure URLs and global edge delivery.

Your traffic does not determine your bill

AudioDN pricing is based primarily on stored audio. A track does not become more expensive because it is played more often.

How AudioDN meters usage
Meter AudioDN
Stored audio Included with the selected plan
Processing and transcoding Included
Plays and streams Unlimited
Data transfer and egress Included
API calls Unlimited
Upload requests No per-request charge
Variant generation Included
Cover-image delivery Included

A product can grow from 1,000 plays to 1,000,000 plays without adding a bandwidth or per-play charge.

This explains how pricing works. It is not a traffic-capacity guarantee.

Approximate storage capacity

Approximate capacity when storing two compressed playback variants per track. Actual usage depends on codecs, bitrates, lossless files, previews, downloads, waveforms, and whether originals are retained.

Creator

10 GB included storage

~50 hours

estimated audio (two playback variants per track)

Business

50 GB included storage

~250 hours

estimated audio (two playback variants per track)

Platform & Enterprise

1 TB included storage

~5,000+ hours

estimated audio (two playback variants per track)

Estimate only. These figures are guidance, not guaranteed capacity. Processed variants, previews, downloadable editions, retained originals, and other stored outputs all count toward storage.

Pricing questions

Are processing and transcoding really included?

Yes. Uploads are processed automatically into your configured playback variants, previews, downloads, waveforms, and analysis outputs. There is no processing-hour or per-transcode charge.

Do you charge for bandwidth or data egress?

No. Data transfer and egress are included. Streaming and downloads do not add bandwidth or per-play charges to your bill.

Are plays actually unlimited?

Yes. Plays and streams are unlimited on every plan. A track costs the same whether it is played a thousand times or a million times. Storage and maximum track-duration limits still apply.

Can I use my own audio player?

Yes. You can use the AudioDN player web component, or build your own using signed delivery URLs and play sessions. A standalone waveform component is also available.

Can users upload directly from my application?

Yes. Signed upload sessions let your users upload audio directly to storage from a browser or mobile app, and the uploader web component wraps this flow for you.

Can I protect paid or private audio?

Yes. Protected playback uses short-lived play sessions and server-signed, time-limited delivery URLs, with track- and collection-scoped access and separate stream-versus-download permissions.

Can one upload produce several formats?

Yes. A single upload can generate multiple playback variants, preview clips, and downloadable formats across different codecs, bitrates, and quality levels. Additional variants can be generated after the original has processed.

What counts toward storage?

Storage reflects the audio you keep. Processed variants, previews, downloadable editions, retained originals, waveform outputs, and cover art can all contribute to storage usage.

What happens when Business storage is exceeded?

The Business plan includes 50 GB and supports additional storage at $1 per 5 GB per month. Creator does not include overage storage; Platform & Enterprise adds storage in 1 TB increments.

Why are there maximum track durations?

Longer tracks require more processing and storage, so each plan sets a maximum track length—20 minutes on Creator, 45 minutes on Business, and 80 minutes on Platform & Enterprise.
